The pumpkin patch

Last week we visited the pumpkin patch. I was a nice day except it was pretty windy which made the air quite crisp. We had fun anyway. The large corn maze took us 2 hours to get though. I was holding Rose the entire time bc it was muddy. We had to answer patriotic questions to match the theme of the maze. We get a large bag of popcorn if we find them all and answer them correctly. We also had to find all the right hole punches too. We got all the questions thanks to my husband, but we missed one hole punch! We couldn't find it anywhere. Tootsabella wanted to win the popcorn as bad as she wanted out of the maze, so the person gave us a small bag for her. She was so happy! I thought that was nice since we worked so hard at it and missed one. The person said we got way more than most people. That made me pretty happy. Anyways, the girls loved the slides and the jumping pillow the best. Overall, the slides were the best. I loved them too!! Here are some great pics from our adventure.

Halloween Cookies

I decided Tootsabella and I could make some cookies for some friends of ours. We are starting a new schedule for preschool at home following the schedule over at http://grandmabonniesweeclassroom.blogspot.com/.   I didn't make shapes like them because these were for our friends. It was good to teach her a bit about measuring and sifting for our home making class.

 She loved dumping excessive sprinkles on them.

It's been a while

It has been a while since I have been here. The last couple of weeks have been crazy. I have barely had time to sit and check my email. We recently visited Ohio to see family and since then it's been busy. The trip was not one of my favorites. The weather was the main culprit. There were a lot of other things that went wrong, but all in all I was thankful that I was able to see the fam again. I will be posting some pics of my so so Ohio trip over the next week. Enjoy!

 We were supposed to go to the pumpkin patch but nobody wanted to go cause it was rainy, cold, and too far. So we picked up some pumpkins that we couldn't fit in the car for the final trip home. I figured Grandma could carve them for us and take pics of them. This is Tootsabella's first pumpkin for the year.

 This is Rose's first pumpkin of the year. She was in the car sleeping so we picked it out for her and her sissa got a pic for her.

This is Rose grumpy after waking up from her nap in the car right when we were about to leave the pumpkin place. 

 She is so happy cause she knows she gets whatever she wants to eat at Grandpa's.

 I had a really hard time with Rose. She didn't want to go to anyone. This was amazing bc she was my ball and chain for the entire trip. She only let my mom hold her two times in a whole week! I felt so badly for everyone who she wouldn't go to. Even here she was unsure.

 They just love each other!! They were so happy!

 I have never heard of this game until now. Maybe I should try this. It looked like a real workout!! I know the tots sure had fun!
