Zombies in Senioa!!!!!!

My sister lives in Peachtree City Georgia and we were so exited to visit her this past Easter. On my way to Georgia, I had learned that the Walking Dead series was planning on filming almost exclusively in Senoia, which is about 10 minutes from Peachtree City. The location manager was there the day we visited. Apparently he was there scoping the area out. Needless to say, I was floored about the whole thing. My husband got me liking the show this past year and now I can't wait till  the next season. Unfortunately, my husband was not with me on this trip. I really wish that he was. Good news...my sister is getting married this fall!!!!!!!! More good news...we get to go visit again, which means we get to visit Senoia again!!!!!!!! This itty bitty quaint town is really neat. The Zac Brown band is opening a store there soon as well. I am so happy that they will still be filming until November. Maybe we will get a glimpse of some action!!

We drove by this in Peachtree City which I thought was neat. 

After visiting Peachtree City, I found out that Drop Dead Diva was filmed there as well as some filming in Senoia. Senoia is also filming location for Sweet Home Alabama, Fried Green Tomatoes, Pet Cemetery, and many other films. They have stars on the sidewalk down Main. Memorial Day....Then and Now

Last year on Memorial Weekend was a lot different than this year. We live in a different house, and unlike last year we did not have family visit. We also celebrated the girls birthday's last year. 

Here is Tootsabella's cake. Her birthday is July 9th but we had it early because family was there.

 I love storms, so this was awesome. My favorite part is when the wind comes in. I love to stand in it and enjoy it after a sweltering day.

 Nathans Famous!!! We ate these for lunch cause daddy had to work. Good thing we grilled early on. They were soooo good.

We had a really good Memorial day with just us. Last year was a blast as well. I love the comparison of the kiddos. It really is crazy how they grow so fast. Have a great day and thanks for reading!!!
